The Engine Shed
Stirling train station is 150m from the Engine Shed. Step-free access to the bridge that crosses the railway tracks is provided by a lift at either end.
Stirling bus station is 260m from the Engine Shed, on the other side of the railway tracks. Access is via a bridge that has a lift at either end.
We have a bike rack outside our conservation centre.
Bike racks can also be found nearby, at:
- Zero Waste Scotland, Forthside Way (140m away)
- Stirling train station (150m away)
- Stirling bus station (260m away)
There is no visitor parking at the Engine Shed, but car drivers can use the public car park 350m away for a small charge (£2 for a full day). The Forthside car park has more than 20 accessible parking bays and electric charging points. For blue badge holders, there are two accessible spaces at the front of the building (55m to the main door) by the road that runs parallel to the train station.
A Park and Ride service, run by Stirling Council, stops near the Engine Shed.
